Prior to these companies, Reo Kobayashi managed a Los Angeles based creative agency. More than just another creative collective, he assembled a full spectrum of creative skillsets that spanned the globe. The agency specialized in branding, design and media as he fully leveraged his hybrid culture (mix of Western consumer values and Eastern philosophies) by working in national and international markets. Disciplines and projects ranged from advertising, broadcast design and commercials, web to video installations and beyond.
Reo Kobayashi was also an investor and owner of two popular denim clothing lines, Farmer Industries and Ranahan Jeans, and a restaurant called Zero One (collective Asian cuisine from his many travels to APAC), which provided a stylish and progressive atmosphere in Hollywood, of which was praised in the Los Angeles Times.
